Finding Your Happy Place: Part 6

Judge Not

It is important for us to learn to understand and accept each others' differences. Each and every person is raised with different values, customs, and norms. All of these shape who we are and we change who we become throughout our lives.

This is extremely important when meeting people for the first time. Almost everyone has heard the adage "To assume is to make an a#% out of you and me." It's really true. Letting people show you who they are in their own time can help you learn much more about the world than any other method.

However, it's also important throughout the entirety of relationships through life. As the Girl Scouts say "Make new friends, and keep the old." Try not to judge others decisions. Accept their mistakes as just that and move on. Life will be more rewarding that way.

Take the steps today to forgive someone, and look at their actions from their perspective. You might shed new light on the situation.

Good luck!
